One month they’re flaunting the biggest baby bump, the month after, they’re svelte and sexy just like they used to be. How do celebrity moms drop their baby weight so quickly? It may prove more challenging for most new moms to drop all those pounds so fast, but there’s no harm in seeking inspiration to get your body back. Here’s how these five mommies did it.

Lost 35 pounds

Heidi Klum took the stage at Victoria’s Secret fashion show, just two months after delivering her son Henry, no bumps or bulges in sight!

Workout

Heidi operated a rowing machine to burn those calories; a move that her trainer said is far more challenging and provides better results than the treadmill. Being a pear-shaped woman, she focused on lunges, squats, and exercises with stability balls, to get back in shape.

Diet

She consumed five small meals – filling her plate with low-starch veggies like broccoli and cauliflower, salmon, chicken, mushrooms, egg whites, nuts, beans and lentils, berries and more. Coffee and dairy were a strict no-no.

The Duchess of Cambridge showed off an incredibly trim figure only six weeks after she gave birth to her daughter, Princess Charlotte.

Workout

Kate prefers outdoor activities over the gym. Her favorite sports – and cardio activities – are running and rowing. She also loves swimming, skiing, and yoga. She used the plank to tighten her core, worked the stability ball to strengthen her glutes and made time for ball crunches to work her abs.

Diet

Kate believes in a healthy lifestyle and eats organic fruits, vegetables, lean meats and few carbs. She’s also a big fan of juicing and consumes various combinations of fruit and vegetable juices.

Kate worked out for 6 days a week for 2-3 hours a day. Her regime had a healthy balance of cardio and resistance training. While 3 days were dedicated to interval biking, rowing machine, and the StairMaster, the other 3 days were all about resistance training.

Diet

Her diet comprised of protein rich meals at frequent intervals. She focused on lean proteins, healthy fats, fresh vegetables and consumed fruits and sweets only after her workout.

Lost 40 pounds

It wasn’t easy for J-Lo to drop those extra kilos after giving birth to twins, but the ultimate showgirl did it in style.

Workout

Jennifer worked out for 45 to-75 minutes, 4 times a week. She also signed up for a sprint triathlon to help her drop the baby weight.

Diet

She made it a point to consume only 1,400 calories a day, dividing them into 4 mini-meals. The main components of which were fresh fruit, raw vegetables and protein.

JESSICA ALBAJESSICA ALBA weight loss

Lost 35 pounds

The star of Into the Blue and Good Luck Chuck famously used a corset to get her pre-baby body back after two pregnancies, but that’s not the only way she shed the kilos.

Workout

Jessica began with 20-minute workouts to strengthen her core muscles and worked her way to longer sessions of fat-busting cardio such as kickboxing and dance aerobics, with strength training.

Diet

Trainer Ramona Braganza had Alba consume three meals, two snacks and at least one liter of water a day. Her calorie allowance was 1,700 per day.
