water

Directions

Step 1:

Rinse the rice in a fine mesh strainer until the water runs clear.

Step 2:

Place the rinsed rice in a medium-sized pot and add the water and salt.

Step 3:

Bring the pot to a boil over high heat.

Step 4:

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot with a lid.

Step 5:

Simmer for 15 minutes, or until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender.

Step 6:

Remove the pot from the heat and let the rice sit, covered, for 10 minutes.

Step 7:

Fluff the rice with a fork and serve. Enjoy!
