Pressure cook the soaked white chana until they are soft.
Heat oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds.
Once the seeds splutter, add the chopped onions and green chillies. Saute until the onions turn golden brown.
Add the ginger-garlic paste and saute for a minute.
Add the chopped tomatoes and all the spice powders. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
Drain the cooked chana and add it to the pan. Mix well so that the chana is coated with the masala.
Add salt to taste and cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes.
Sprinkle garam masala powder and cook for another 2 minutes.
Serve the white chana hot with rice, roti, or puri.
