A vegetable grilled sandwich is a delicious sandwich made with a variety of vegetables. Sliced vegetables are layered between bread slices of your choice and then grilled until golden brown. whole wheat bread

2 slices


2 tablespoons

grated cheese

1/4 cup

chopped vegetables (onion, bell pepper, tomato, etc.)

1/4 cup

Salt and pepper to taste



Step 1:

Heat a skillet over medium heat.

Step 2:

Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.

Step 3:

Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.

Step 4:

Sprinkle grated cheese over the bread.

Step 5:

Top with chopped vegetables.

Step 6:

Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Step 7:

Place the other slice of bread, butter side up, on top of the vegetables.

Step 8:

Grill for 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.

Step 9:

Flip the sandwich and grill for an additional 3-4 minutes.

Step 10:

Serve hot. Enjoy!
