Heat the oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
When they crackle, add the chopped onions and sauté on a medium flame till they turn translucent.
Add the green chillies and sauté on a medium flame for another minute.
Add the potatoes, carrots and green peas, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala and salt.
Mix well, cover and cook on a medium flame for 15 to 20 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
