Wash and soak the basmati rice for 30 minutes.
Heat ghee and oil in a pressure cooker.
Add cumin seeds, bay leaves, green cardamoms, cloves and cinnamon stick.
Add onion and sauté until golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder.
Add green peas, carrots, french beans, cauliflower, potatoes and green bell pepper.
Add cashew nuts and raisins.
Add fresh coriander leaves and salt to taste.
Add the soaked basmati rice and mix well.
Add 2 cups of water and mix well.
Close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook for 2 whistles.
Serve hot with raita or any curry of your choice.
