Soak the Urad Dal in water for at least 4 hours.
Drain the water and grind the Urad Dal into a coarse paste.
Add the Rice Flour, Chana Dal, Coriander Seeds, Cumin Seeds, Sesame Seeds, Red Chilli Powder, Salt, Asafoetida, Oil and Water to the Urad Dal paste and mix well.
Heat oil in a pan and drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the hot oil.
Fry the Vadas until they are golden brown.
Serve hot with chutney or sambar.
