Ingredients

suji (semolina)

1 cup

chopped onion

1/2 cup

chopped green chillies

1/2 cup

chopped carrots

1/2 cup

chopped green beans

1/2 cup

chopped potatoes

1/2 cup

chopped coriander leaves

1/4 cup

mustard seeds

1 teaspoon

cumin seeds

1 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1 teaspoon

red chilli powder

1 teaspoon

garam masala

1 teaspoon

oil

2 tablespoons

Salt to taste

water

2 cups

Directions

Step 1:

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Step 2:

Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Step 3:

Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.

Step 4:

Add chopped green chillies, carrots, green beans and potatoes and sauté for a few minutes.

Step 5:

Add suji and mix well.

Step 6:

Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and salt and mix well.

Step 7:

Add 2 cups of water and bring it to a boil.

Step 8:

Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes or until the suji is cooked.

Step 9:

Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.

Step 10:

Serve hot with chutney or pickle.
