Step 1:

Wash and cut the vegetables into bite-sized pieces.

Step 2:

Place the vegetables in a steamer basket and place the basket in a large pot filled with 1 inch of water.

Step 3:

Cover the pot and bring the water to a boil.

Step 4:

Reduce the heat to low and steam the vegetables for 8-10 minutes, or until they are tender.

Step 5:

Remove the steamer basket from the pot and transfer the vegetables to a bowl.

Step 6:

Drizzle the vegetables with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 7:

Serve the steamed vegetables warm. Enjoy!
