all-purpose flour

2 cups

baking powder

1/2 teaspoon


1/2 teaspoon

vegetable oil

1/4 cup

warm water

1/2 cup

finely chopped vegetables (carrots, cabbage, bell peppers, mushrooms, etc.)

2 cups

minced garlic

1 teaspoon

minced ginger

1 teaspoon

soy sauce

1 teaspoon

sesame oil

1 teaspoon

chili sauce

1 teaspoon

white vinegar

1 teaspoon

Salt and pepper to taste



Step 1:

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Step 2:

Add the vegetable oil and warm water and mix until a soft dough forms.

Step 3:

Knead the dough for 5 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.

Step 4:

Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Step 5:

In a separate bowl, mix together the chopped vegetables, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, chili sauce, white vinegar, salt, and pepper.

Step 6:

Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and roll each portion into a ball.

Step 7:

Flatten each ball into a circle and spoon 1 tablespoon of the vegetable mixture into the center.

Step 8:

Fold the edges of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.

Step 9:

Place the momos on a steamer basket and steam for 10 minutes.

Step 10:

Serve the steamed vegetable momos hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
