chopped spinach

onion, chopped


cloves garlic, minced


ginger, grated

1 teaspoon

Salt to taste

Step 1:

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Step 2:

Add cumin, mustard and fenugreek seeds and fry for a few seconds.

Step 3:

Add turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala and fry for a few more seconds.

Step 4:

Add the chopped spinach and stir-fry for a few minutes.

Step 5:

Add the onion, garlic and ginger and fry for a few more minutes.

Step 6:

Add salt to taste and stir-fry for a few more minutes.

Step 7:

Add the chopped cilantro and stir-fry for a few more minutes.

Step 8:

Serve hot with chapatis or rice.
