Ingredients

gram flour

1 cup

turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon

chilli powder

1/2 teaspoon

cumin powder

1/2 teaspoon

onion, sliced

1

green chili, finely chopped

1

mixed veggies (cabbage, carrot, bell pepper)

2 cups

Salt to taste

Oil for frying

Directions

Step 1:

In a large bowl, mix together gram flour, turmeric powder, chilli powder, and cumin powder.

Step 2:

Add sliced onion, chopped chili, mixed veggies to the bowl. Mix everything well.

Step 3:

Add water gradually and mix well to form a semi-thick batter.

Step 4:

Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, drop spoonfuls of batter into the oil.

Step 5:

Fry on medium heat till the pakoras become crispy and golden.

Step 6:

Use a slotted spoon to remove pakoras onto an absorbent paper towel.

Step 7:

Season with additional salt if desired, and serve hot with a spicy dipping sauce.
