Boil the soya chunks in water for 10-15 minutes, then drain and squeeze the excess water.
Heat oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds.
Once the seeds splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add green chillies and ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook till they turn pulpy and oil separates.
Add all the spice powders and salt and mix well.
Now add the soaked and squeezed soya chunks to the masala and coat them well with the mixture.
Cover the pan and cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes.
Sprinkle garam masala on top and stir well.
Serve hot with roti or rice.
