Soak the soya chunks in hot water for 15 minutes.
Rinse and squeeze out all the water and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan, add onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add ginger garlic paste and green chilli, sauté for a minute.
Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt. Cook until tomatoes are soft.
Add squeezed soya chunks to the pan and stir well.
Cook for about 5-10 minutes.
Serve hot with rice or roti.
