Hang the yogurt in a muslin cloth for 3-4 hours to drain out the whey.
In a bowl, combine the strained yogurt, sugar, cardamom powder, saffron and milk mixture.
Whisk the mixture until it is smooth and creamy.
Chill the shrikhand in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.
Garnish with chopped nuts and serve.
