Cut the bread slices into triangle or square shapes.
Heat ghee in a pan and fry the bread slices until golden.
In another pan, boil milk until it reduces to half. Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron strands. Stir well.
In a separate pan, make sugar syrup by boiling water and sugar.
Dip the fried bread slices in sugar syrup and arrange them in a flat dish.
Pour the thickened milk over the bread slices and let it soak for a few minutes.
Garnish with almonds and pistachios.
Chill for a couple of hours before serving.
