Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, chana dal and asafoetida.
When the seeds start to crackle, add the sambar and mix well.
Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt to taste.
Cook for 5 minutes and then add the cooked rice.
Mix well and cook for another 5 minutes.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
