Ingredients

idli rice

2 cups

urad dal

1 cup

fenugreek seeds

1 teaspoon

Salt to taste

oil

Directions

Step 1:

Soak the idli rice and urad dal separately in water for 4-5 hours.

Step 2:

Drain the water from the soaked rice and dal and grind them separately in a blender or food processor.

Step 3:

Add the fenugreek seeds to the ground rice and dal and mix them together.

Step 4:

Add salt to the mixture and mix it well.

Step 5:

Grease the idli moulds with oil and fill them with the mixture.

Step 6:

Steam the idlis for 10-15 minutes.

Step 7:

Serve the hot and delicious rice idlis with chutney or sambar.
