Boil the pasta according to the instructions on the package. Drain and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until they are golden brown.
Add the bell pepper and cook until it's soft.
Stir in the tomato purée and bring the mixture to a boil.
Add the oregano, basil, chilli flakes, and salt. Let the sauce simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss well to ensure the pasta is well-coated.
Serve the pasta hot, garnished with grated cheese.
