A raw walnut is a nut that has not been cooked or processed in any way. It is usually sold in its natural, unprocessed form, with its shell still intact. Raw walnuts are a good source of protein, healthy fats, and dietary fiber. They are also rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, including magnesium, phosphorus, and zinc. Raw walnuts can be eaten as a snack, added to salads, or used in baking.
