Ingredients

semolina (rava)

1 cup

curd

1/2 cup

finely chopped vegetables (onion, tomato, capsicum, carrot)

1/2 cup

green chilli, finely chopped

1

A few coriander leaves, finely chopped

Salt to taste

baking soda

1/2 teaspoon

Water as required

Oil for cooking

Directions

Step 1:

Take a bowl and mix semolina and curd in it. Add a little water and make a batter of pouring consistency. Keep it aside for 20 minutes.

Step 2:

Add chopped vegetables, green chilli, coriander leaves, salt and baking soda to the batter. Mix well.

Step 3:

Heat a non-stick pan on medium flame and grease it with a little oil.

Step 4:

Pour a ladleful of batter on the pan and spread it in a circular motion to make a thin uttapam. Cook on both sides till it turns golden brown.

Step 5:

Serve the Rava Uttapam hot with chutney and sambhar.
