About

Radish is a root vegetable that is crunchy and slightly spicy. It is usually eaten raw, in salads or as a garnish, but can also be cooked. Radishes are a good source of vitamin C, folate, and potassium. They are low in calories and contain some fiber. Radishes are often used in Asian and Indian cuisine, and can be pickled or fermented for a tangy flavor.
