Pyaaz Pakoda, also known as Onion Pakoda, is a popular Indian snack. It's a deep-fried fritter made primarily of sliced onions and gram flour batter. It's crispy, flavorful and a perfect companion for a hot cup of tea. Widely enjoyed during monsoons, Pyaaz Pakoda is often served with green chutney or ketchup.

In a mixing bowl, add sliced onions, gram flour, ajwain, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
Mix well and keep aside for 10 minutes to release water from onions.
Heat the oil in a deep frying pan.
Take small portions of the onion mixture and drop them into the hot oil.
Fry till golden brown on medium heat and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
