Drain the soaked chickpeas and rinse them with fresh water.
In a pressure cooker, add the chickpeas, salt, and enough water to submerge the chickpeas. Cook for 4-5 whistles or until the chickpeas are soft.
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add the onions and fry until they are golden brown.
Add the ginger-garlic paste and fry for a minute.
Add the chopped tomatoes, salt, and all the dry spice powders. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
Now add the cooked chickpeas and mix well. Add some water if necessary.
Cover the pan and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
Garnished with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with Bhature or rice.
