cooked rice

2 cups

tamarind paste

2 tablespoons

mustard seeds

1 teaspoon

cumin seeds

1 teaspoon

fenugreek seeds

1 teaspoon

black pepper

1 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1 teaspoon

red chilli powder

1 teaspoon

oil

2 tablespoons

asafoetida

1 teaspoon

grated coconut

2 tablespoons

chopped coriander leaves

2 tablespoons

Salt to taste

Directions

Step 1:

Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, black pepper, turmeric powder and red chilli powder.

Step 2:

Add the tamarind paste and cook for a few minutes.

Step 3:

Add the cooked rice and mix well.

Step 4:

Add the grated coconut, chopped coriander leaves and salt to taste.

Step 5:

Cook for a few minutes and serve hot.
