green chili, finely chopped

cumin seeds

1 teaspoon

mustard seeds

1 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1 teaspoon

coriander powder

1 teaspoon

garam masala

1 teaspoon

oil

2 tablespoons

Salt to taste

Directions

Step 1:

Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Step 2:

Add the cumin and mustard seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.

Step 3:

Add the onions and sauté until they are lightly browned.

Step 4:

Add the potatoes and sauté for a few minutes.

Step 5:

Add the tomatoes, green chili, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and garam masala.

Step 6:

Stir to combine and cook for a few minutes.

Step 7:

Add a few tablespoons of water and cover the pan.

Step 8:

Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are cooked through.

Step 9:

Add salt to taste and serve hot.
