In a bowl, mix the boiled and mashed potatoes, chopped onions, coriander leaves, cumin powder, red chilli powder, and salt.
Spread this potato mixture evenly on one side of a bread slice. Cover it with another bread slice.
Heat a pan and melt some butter in it. Place the sandwich in it and toast it till it turns crispy and golden brown from both the sides.
Cut the sandwich into halves.
Serve hot with ketchup or mint chutney.
