Ingredients

poha (flattened rice)

2 cups

tsp mustard seeds

1/2

tsp vegetable oil

2

chopped onions

1/2 cup

green peas

1/2 cup

chillies, finely chopped

2

chopped coriander

1/2 cup

Salt to taste

tsp lemon juice

Directions

Step 1:

Rinse the poha in cold water until it softens.

Step 2:

Heat the oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and let them crackle.

Step 3:

Add chopped onions and chillies, saute until the onions turn golden brown.

Step 4:

Add green peas and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Step 5:

Add the softened poha, salt, and mix well.

Step 6:

Cook for 5-6 minutes on low flame.

Step 7:

Turn off the heat and mix in the lemon juice.

Step 8:

Garnish the poha with chopped coriander and serve hot.
