cooked white rice

2 cups

plain yogurt

1 cup

mustard seeds

1 teaspoon

cumin seeds

1 teaspoon

urad dal

1 teaspoon

chana dal

1 teaspoon


1 teaspoon


1 teaspoon

ginger, finely chopped

1 teaspoon

green chillies, finely chopped

1 teaspoon

curry leaves

1 teaspoon

coriander leaves, finely chopped

1 teaspoon

Salt to taste



Step 1:

Heat oil and ghee in a pan.

Step 2:

Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, and chana dal.

Step 3:

When the seeds start to splutter, add ginger, green chillies, curry leaves, and coriander leaves.

Step 4:

Saute for a few seconds and add the cooked rice.

Step 5:

Mix well and add the yogurt.

Step 6:

Add salt to taste and mix everything together.

Step 7:

Cook for a few minutes until the yogurt is absorbed by the rice.

Step 8:

Serve hot with a dollop of ghee. Enjoy!
