About

Pizza sauce is a common part of the traditional pizza, a dish of Italian origin. It is made from cooked tomatoes, enhanced with sweet and savory herbs and spices. Its robust flavor compliments the cheeses and toppings on pizzas. The sauce is also often used for dipping breadsticks or on pasta.
