baking powder

milk

1/2 cup

vegetable oil

1/4 cup

vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1:

Peel and slice the bananas into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Step 2:

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom.

Step 3:

In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, milk, oil, and vanilla extract.

Step 4:

Dip the banana slices into the wet mixture, then coat them in the dry mixture.

Step 5:

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan.

Step 6:

Fry the banana slices in batches until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.

Step 7:

Transfer the fried bananas to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.

Step 8:

Serve warm with honey or ice cream. Enjoy!
