green chillies, chopped


cumin seeds

1 teaspoon

coriander powder

1 teaspoon

garam masala

1 teaspoon

red chilli powder

1 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1 teaspoon


1 teaspoon

garlic paste


2 tablespoons

Salt to taste



Step 1:

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Step 2:

Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.

Step 3:

Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.

Step 4:

Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a few seconds.

Step 5:

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft.

Step 6:

Add all the dry spices and mix well.

Step 7:

Add green peas and paneer cubes and mix well.

Step 8:

Add 1/2 cup of water and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

Step 9:

Add salt to taste and mix well.

Step 10:

Serve hot with chapatis or rice.
