Ingredients

paneer

200 grams

medium sized onions

medium sized tomatoes

cashews

cumin seeds

1/2 teaspoon

ginger garlic paste

1 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon

red chilli powder

1 teaspoon

garam masala powder

1/2 teaspoon

oil

2 tablespoons

Salt to taste

Directions

Step 1:

Soak the cashews in warm water for 15 minutes then grind it along with the tomatoes to make a puree.

Step 2:

Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.

Step 3:

Once the cumin seeds start to splutter, add chopped onions and green chillies and sauté till they turn golden brown.

Step 4:

Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a few more minutes.

Step 5:

Add the puree into the pan and cook till the raw smell goes away.

Step 6:

Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt. Mix well.

Step 7:

Add paneer cubes and cook for a few minutes.

Step 8:

Serve hot with roti or rice.
