Wash the spinach thoroughly and blanch in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Cool and puree in a blender.
Heat the oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and allow them to splutter. Then add chopped onions, garlic, ginger, and allow them to sauté till golden.
Add pureed tomatoes along with turmeric powder, garam masala and salt. Let it cook until oil separates.
Now, add the pureed spinach and mix well. Cook for 5-7 minutes on low flame.
Add paneer cubes and gently mix. Cook for another 3-4 minutes covering the pan.
Serve hot with roti or rice.
