Ingredients

fresh spinach (palak)

300 grams

paneer (cottage cheese)

200 grams

green chillies

2

cumin seeds (jeera)

1 teaspoon

onion, finely chopped

ginger

1 teaspoon

garlic paste

cumin powder

1/2 teaspoon

coriander powder

1/2 teaspoon

garam masala

1/2 teaspoon

oil

2 tablespoons

Salt to taste

Directions

Step 1:

Blanch the spinach leaves in boiling water for 2 minutes. Then, cool and blend it to make a smooth puree.

Step 2:

In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the finely chopped onions and sauté till translucent.

Step 3:

Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute till the raw smell vanishes.

Step 4:

Add the spinach puree and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Step 5:

Now add the cumin powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Mix well and cook for another minute.

Step 6:

Add paneer cubes and salt, cook for 2-3 minutes.

Step 7:

Serve hot with roti or rice.
