idli batter

2 cups

finely chopped onions

1/2 cup

finely chopped green chillies

1/4 cup

finely chopped coriander leaves

1/4 cup

cumin seeds

1/4 teaspoon

Salt to taste

Oil for cooking



Step 1:

In a bowl, mix together the idli batter, onions, green chillies, coriander leaves, cumin seeds and salt.

Step 2:

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan.

Step 3:

Spread the batter evenly and drizzle some oil around the edges.

Step 4:

Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.

Step 5:

Flip the uttappam and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the other side is golden brown.

Step 6:

Serve hot with chutney or sambar. Enjoy!
