Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan with butter or cooking spray.
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the sugar.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
Drop spoonfuls of Nutella over the batter and swirl with a knife.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
