Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and cut them into slices.
Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Add the garlic and fry until they turn a golden brown.
Add the mushrooms, salt, and pepper and sauté until the mushrooms are golden and the edges are slightly crispy. The cooking process should take about 10 minutes.
Serve the sautéed mushrooms as a side dish, or use them as a topping for pizzas or a filling for sandwiches or wraps.
