Ingredients

large mosambi (sweet lime)

sugar

1/2 cup

water

1/2 cup

cardamom powder

1/4 teaspoon

black salt

1/4 teaspoon

Ice cubes

Directions

Step 1:

Peel and deseed the mosambi.

Step 2:

Place the mosambi pieces in a blender and blend until smooth.

Step 3:

In a saucepan, add the sugar and water and bring to a boil.

Step 4:

Once the sugar has dissolved, add the cardamom powder and black salt.

Step 5:

Simmer for a few minutes and then remove from heat.

Step 6:

Strain the syrup into a bowl and let it cool.

Step 7:

In a glass, add the mosambi juice, syrup and ice cubes.

Step 8:

Stir and serve chilled.
