Rinse and soak the moong dal for 20 minutes
Drain the water and and grind the dal along with ginger, green chili, cumin seeds, salt and 1 cup water.
Grind to a smooth and pouring consistency.
Heat a pan over medium heat and pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan.
Spread the batter evenly and drizzle a teaspoon of oil around the dosa and cook for a few minutes until the edges start to brown.
Flip the dosa and cook for a few more minutes until both sides are golden brown.
Serve hot with chutney or sambar. Enjoy!
