Moong Dal Dosa



Moong Dal Dosa is a popular South Indian dish made from a batter of split mung beans and rice. Unlike traditional dosa, this does not require fermentation and can be made in 30 minutes. Step 1:

Rinse and soak the moong dal for 20 minutes

Step 2:

Drain the water and and grind the dal along with ginger, green chili, cumin seeds, salt and 1 cup water.

Step 3:

Grind to a smooth and pouring consistency.

Step 4:

Heat a pan over medium heat and pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan.

Step 5:

Spread the batter evenly and drizzle a teaspoon of oil around the dosa and cook for a few minutes until the edges start to brown.

Step 6:

Flip the dosa and cook for a few more minutes until both sides are golden brown.

Step 7:

Serve hot with chutney or sambar. Enjoy!
