Ingredients

moong dal (soaked

1 cup

cumin seeds

1/2 teaspoon

red chilli powder

1/2 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1/4 teaspoon

garam masala

1/4 teaspoon

aamchur powder

1/4 teaspoon

coriander powder

1/4 teaspoon

chaat masala

1/4 teaspoon

black pepper powder

1/4 teaspoon

baking soda

1/4 teaspoon

Salt to taste

Oil for cooking

Directions

Step 1:

Mix all ingredients except oil and grind in to a smooth batter.

Step 2:

Pour a ladleful of batter onto hot greased tawa and spread evenly.

Step 3:

Drizzle a few drops of oil and cook on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes.

Step 4:

Flip the cheela and cook on the other side until cooked well.

Step 5:

Repeat same with remaining batter and serve hot with accompaniments.
