Soak the moong dal in water for 3-4 hours.
Drain the water and transfer the dal to a grinder.
Add the ginger, green chillies, asafoetida, cumin seeds, and salt.
Grind to a coarse paste without adding any water.
Take the paste out in a bowl and add the chopped onions and coriander leaves and mix well.
Heat the oil in a frying pan.
Take a spoonful of the dal mixture and drop it in the hot oil.
Fry till the bhajiyas turn golden and crispy.
Drain on absorbent paper.
Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
