Moong Bhaji is a traditional Indian snack known for its delicious taste and nutritious values. moong dal (split green gram)

1 cup

cumin seeds

1/2 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon

red chilli powder

1/2 teaspoon

Salt to taste

chopped coriander leaves

2 tablespoons

Oil for deep frying



Step 1:

Soak the moong dal in water for 4-5 hours.

Step 2:

Drain the water and grind the dal to a coarse paste.

Step 3:

In a bowl, mix the ground dal with cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, and coriander leaves.

Step 4:

Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.

Step 5:

Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the hot oil and deep fry until golden brown.

Step 6:

Remove the bhajis from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper.

Step 7:

Serve hot with chutney of your choice.
