Ingredients

Daliya (cracked wheat)

1 cup

Milk

2 cups

Sugar

1/4 cup

Cardamom powder

1/4 teaspoon

Ghee

2 tablespoons

Raisins

2 tablespoons

Almonds, chopped

2 tablespoons

Directions

Step 1:

Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat.

Step 2:

Add the daliya and roast for 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously.

Step 3:

Add the milk and bring to a boil.

Step 4:

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 5:

Add the sugar, cardamom powder, raisins and almonds and mix well.

Step 6:

Simmer for another 5 minutes or until the daliya is cooked and the milk has thickened.

Step 7:

Serve hot or warm. Enjoy!
