whole wheat flour

cumin seeds

1 teaspoon

sesame seeds

chopped fresh methi leaves

warm water

Step 1:

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, cumin seeds, sesame seeds, and ajwain.

Step 2:

Add the oil and mix until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.

Step 3:

Add the chopped methi leaves and mix until combined.

Step 4:

Slowly add the warm water and knead the dough until it is soft and pliable.

Step 5:

Cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Step 6:

Divide the dough into small balls.

Step 7:

Roll out each ball into a thin circle.

Step 8:

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.

Step 9:

Place the rolled out circle on the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Step 10:

Flip the khakra and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Step 11:

Remove from the pan and serve hot.
