Methi is a type of herb that is commonly used in Indian cuisine. It has a strong, bitter flavor and is often used to add flavor to curries, dals, and other dishes. It is also used to make a popular Indian flatbread called methi paratha. Methi is high in fiber and is a good source of vitamins and minerals, including iron, calcium, and magnesium. It is also dried to make kasuri methi which imparts a unqiue flavour to many Indian curries.
