Malai Kofta is a popular North Indian dish. It consists of fried balls (koftas) made from paneer (cottage cheese) and potato, which are then soaked in a creamy and spicy gravy. The word 'Malai' refers to the cream used in the dish and 'Kofta' is the term used for the fried balls. It’s often served at special or festive occasions like weddings, anniversaries and birthdays. It is best enjoyed with naan, roti or jeera rice.
