Grate the Lauki and squeeze out the excess water.
In a large bowl, combine the grated Lauki, whole wheat flour, green chillies, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add enough water to make a soft dough and knead well.
Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out each portion into a circle using a little whole wheat flour for dusting.
Heat a tava (griddle) and cook each paratha using a little ghee, until it turns golden brown on both sides.
Serve hot with pickle, yogurt, or curry.
