Wash and cut the ladies finger into 1 inch pieces.
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and mustard seeds.
When the seeds start to splutter, add the chopped onion and sauté till it turns golden brown.
Add the chopped tomatoes and sauté for a few minutes.
Add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala.
Add the ladies finger pieces and mix well.
Add salt to taste and mix well.
Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes or until the ladies finger is cooked.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
