grated bottle gourd

2 cups

grated coconut

1/2 cup

sugar

2 tablespoons

cardamom powder

1/4 teaspoon

ghee

2 tablespoons

raisins

2 tablespoons

cashew nuts

2 tablespoons

Directions

Step 1:

Heat the ghee in a pan and add the grated bottle gourd.

Step 2:

Saute the gourd for a few minutes until it is lightly browned.

Step 3:

Add the grated coconut, sugar, cardamom powder, raisins, and cashew nuts.

Step 4:

Mix everything together and cook for a few minutes until the mixture is thick and dry.

Step 5:

Serve the khira hot or cold. Enjoy!
